Lunch by the Lake?

Lunch by the lake has become lunch by the pond. The rain finally stopped this morning and it seems we may have brought some sunshine back from Italy. We had lunch at Hazlehead Park. It was bright sunny with a clear blue sky. As can be deduced from the lack of people at the outside tables, the appearance of a warm sunny day can be deceptive.

We spent some of the morning and afternoon puppy sitting, but did not take her to lunch with us as it would have been a bit too cool to sit outside. She was pleased to see us when we got back from lunch. She was a bit frustrated when I was unable to open her child gate to let her out of her room. Eventually, more or less by chance, the lock released and so was she.

Visit to the supermarket in the afternoon to partially fill an empty fridge.
