Blue Skies and Clouds

The day has been largely sunny and warm, though now we are covered in the usual thick layer of cloud.

This should be the time for lots of contrasting autumn colours so I took a trip to Johnston Gardens. Disappointingly not too much colour variation on the trees. I had to settle for an HDR shot to bring out the contrasts a bit more.

I had to go into the city so thought I would have a fruit tart at John Lewis. None to be had so I had some chocolate cake instead. I have to confess it was too much chocolate, and I was feeling slightly sick afterwards. Not the ideal condition for going to the supermarket on a provisioning visit.

Lots of traffic at the Bridge of Dee roundabout, some of it rather impatient.
