A touch of Soozy Wilson

I was inspired by some of Soozy Wilson shots of drops on cobwebs and today when I was walking round the garden after the rainstorm I looked down and these beads of water were just sitting on a web waiting to be blipped.

We had very heavy rain last night with lots of flooding including the local Primary that had to close because of all the water. We had a lot of water gushing down the field and the burn is very noisy.I should think the water falls must be looking spectacular.

We went out for a drive later in the day as the sun came out. We had waited all day for delivery of our headboards so Mike phoned in the end to see if they could tell us what time they were coming Friday was the answer !

We could see where the roads had been flooded with lots of debris left behind and still streams of water running down the sides. Extra high tides are expected in the next couple of days.

We looked out for Floss, a bearded collie that belongs to one of my Brownies who ran away this morning from the Fairy Glen. Still no news so really hope that she's found soon. Luckily the weather has improved so she might just make her own way home.


Update. Good news , Floss came home by herself at 11 0 clock, very wet but ok. Bet she thinks twice about doing it again !
