Spindle Berries

A pretty miserable day. The weather has been atrocious and getting in to work was very unpleasant. The traffic is getting worse every day at the best of times and it was double worse this morning. I ended up turning round from a quarter mile queue near Broadbridge Heath and went a different way to pass a car going the other way which hit a female pheasant. Vehicular football it was - the bundle of wet feathers that appeared through the driving rain seemed to be kicked across the lane at me and there was a definate thud as it passed under my car and into oblivion - not nice either.

I've hit a major information block on my story and everything is again on hold until it is resolved - but can't see that happening for a long time.

This was about all I could do today and was spotted in a hedge near Warnham.
