You won't believe who we missed by like five minutes in the pet store today. My father! He has always been sort of an abstraction, even if we know he exists and lives not far from here. It would have been great to see him. We probably wouldn't have recognised each other, but still. Maybe I look like him?

We practise a short session every day on the new, more strict Rules of Obedience. I still sit at an angle, and mum has no idea how to fix that. Two days to go until next lesson....
