Basil at the Memorial Crags

Basil and I had a wonderful walk in Bradgate Park this morning. Wasn't it a glorious day?

We walked down the hill from the Old John car park, and then cut across to see some deer. The stag was a magnificent beast. I think he's survived a few ruts. Then up to the Memorial Crags where I took this shot of Basil.

He didn't want to get back in the van to come home but is now dossed out on the bed.
