Panic Cake

After a long old day in the office, I got home, put my pjs on, had tea, wrapped Mum's presents, and was just washing up and talking to Greg about how much we wished we had cake to eat whilst watching Bake Off on catch-up, when it dawned on me that I had totally forgotten to make my Mum a birthday cake! I had to rush up to coop and get the ingredients and quickly knock up a sponge. It looked amazing until I went to take it out of the tin, when it got stuck and refused to budge. I prised it out in the end, and hope I can patch it up to make it look good in the morning!
