Take a little walk I thought. After steps, lots of, and a narrow track you gain the most amazing view of Machu Picchu.

The walk also included the Moon Temple (Gran Cavenas) which only meant that there was extra time to walk, and more steps. The path is narrow. There were older people than me doing the walk, in their own time. Do not rush the walk, there is plenty of time to do whole thing.

There is now a limit of 400 people, split into two groups of 200. Do the first group at 8am. It is cooler and you climb without people trying to come down.

The view is worth the effort. I am so glad I made the effort for this day.
