Pacific Ocean as seen from Latin America
I woke up earlier than usual today to get an early breakfast. I only got to eat for 15mins as the Turistik tour van fetched me 10minutes earlier than planned. I ate my Pad Thai as fast as I can.
Vina del Mar and Valparaiso were both amazing. We got to visit the other house of Pablo Neruda in Valparaiso although we didnt have the time to go inside the house. Photos from the exterior were enough though. Just like his house in Santiago, this property is on the hill (well most of the houses in Valparaiso are on the hills!) Visiting Valparaiso is another collection to my UNESCO World Heritage Site visits :) I had the good chance to know Edwin from Honduras who currently works in Miami as my chat buddy during the trip :) He had a bad-ass GoPro as well!
What is so cool about this visit is the fact that i was able to view the Pacific Ocean from the other side of the world. As you are looking into the photo above, the Philippines is just somewhere beyond that horizon :)
This is my last night in Chile as well. I dont know when will i be able to go back to this continent but i really did enjoy knowing a different kind of culture. Back to Europe tomorrow and then off to Germany on Monday! I will be living in airports for the next two days! Bring it on!
