Gail worked out that it's been nineteen years since we last took on a kitten. Coupled with the fact that we are hardly the 'spring chickens' that we (like to think we) were back then, it's a job and a half.

The constant demands for attention and food fall on deaf ears as we have to take it in turns to look after kitty instead!

We've forgotten how to take pictures of them too. He's never still. Just when he's conveniently sitting on the laptop looking up, his instinct tells him to leap at the lens as soon as my finger twitches on the shutter. Argh!

Well, at least things can only get better (he says, optimistically!)
