Bike is best!

MORNING
Cycle to Station - all trains to London cancelled due to signal failure.
Train in the opposite direction to Banbury where I catch a London train.
Arrive Marylebone
Get on tube
Bakerloo line at a standstill
Jump off tube, jump on bus
Traffic at a standstill
Jump off bus and run to Whitehall in time for meeting
Meeting goes well - £804k grant secured

AFTERNOON
As above in reverse


The two most successful bits of my day - getting a grant I've been working on for 14 months and riding my lovely bike to and from the station! I took a snap of these bikes in Marylebone for my bike is best theme.

Tomorrow I'm cooking dinner for 82 people - no idea how that's going to work!
