The chestnut tree
Today was one of those glorious Autumn days.
Golden sun which felt warm, and brought out the changing colours to perfection.
Not a walk with our group today, as after our trip to Bolton Abbey yesterday, didn't feel like driving a long way again today, to the start of the walk, which was from Hebden, Nr Grassington.
So the two of us decided to reconnoitre a walk nearer home. One which we are leading for the walking club next May.
Starting at Judy Woods, Wyke.
I have done this walk before, SEE HERE but it was a first for MrC, who was delighted with the walk, and I didn't go wrong once!!
The walk just happens to finish at a very good pub too!!
( Good planning on my part don't you think!)
Just hope the weather is as good in May.
Back home now. Enjoying a nice glass of red wine.
Cumberland sausages, and roasted winter vegetables for tea.
Perfect end to today.
We have been so lucky with the weekend weather. Hope you have all enjoyed it too.
