downtown Vancouver

so, we learnt today that the absolute best way to see a new city is with great friends in a convertible mustang!

We went for breakfast at Whitestone with Rae, Bev and Janet - being in Canada we obviously had waffles, pancakes, blueberries and maple syrup. Then we loaded ourselves into Bev's mustang and cruised round the city, before playing a round of golf at UBC. While having a lovely dinner on the terrace we saw hummingbirds - yes, hummingbirds!!!

This is a hotel in downtown Vancouver - fascinating design.
