580 miles from home to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We pulled in at 10 p.m.

But, only after supper with the Colonel. Colonel Harlan Sanders, of Kentucky Fried Chicken. KFC.

Trivia question. In what city in Kentucky did the original KFC start? Louisville? Lexington? Paducah? No, no, and no. The answer is Corbin. Exit 29 on I-75.

He had a little motor court business, and started selling chicken on the side. Did he immediately get a LEG up on his competition? Did he keep aBREAST of his progress? Did he quickly THIGH to forge ahead...to try to get a WING up?
