Happy Lads

So.... today the silage has been raked and wrapped. Rain was threatening and the clouds were gathering, but the job is done and the happy lads are having a beer (or two) in the barn as I am writing this.
Its always such a relief to get the job done as it always depends on the weather and on machinery break-downs. It all went smoothly this time.
Next job: picking it up and stacking it which is all done by tractor and it doesn't matter if it rains because the grass is all wrapped in plastic.
