Why is life so busy??

Time is flying by. It's hard to believe that we are in October already. Why is life busy?

It's been a lovely, warm day. The grass is growing, and the cows are still calving. Another two born overnight. Four more to go, and then it will be finished for another year.

This is Smudge up one of our trees. He's a gorgeous cat, although can have a bit of an attitude. But that's good.

C's away for a couple of nights, on an orienteering course, goodness know where, sleeping under a fly. I'm sure he's learning heaps and having fun.
