The things that make up a life

I got a lot done today at work and managed to get away at 1pm.

After a quick lunch and change at home, I popped into the estate agents to see IL and to sign up for their services for selling B's house.

I moved on to join my bro, P, at the house to do the last two tip and charity shop runs, to bag up the final rubbish and to finish off cleaning the downstairs. I got rather hot and sweaty as the kitchen was really grotty but it was a good job, well done. The house is now cleared and ready for sale. P has done the lion's share of the work and seemed very relieved to have got it out of the way. I am extremely grateful that he has taken the lead this time.

The agent popped in to have another look and they hope to bring a potential buyer round tomorrow, which is good news but we will have to make them aware that our paperwork allowing us to sell may not arrive for several weeks yet.

Then we packed my car with more stuff for me to take home and go through at my leisure. My dining room is now full to the gunnels with boxes :(

It'll be a shower and a quiet night for me especially as my tummy isn't great at the moment.

My blip is of my dressing table containing some precious photos (and reflecting some too). The mirror is one I've just brought from B's house. It will be nice to have something attractive and useful in my bedroom to remind me of her daily and forever more.
