Reds and Greys

Work was fine. Busy. Productive and included a useful meeting with a colleague to go through some ideas for an upcoming seminar. I left at 1pm.

I then did some shopping, both groceries and a very small amount of Christmas shopping, taking advantage of the wealth of independent shops in Market Harborough. I also allowed myself a look at the gorgeous baby clothes in the posh shop there and I can't wait to buy something for the new bub when s/he arrives next month. Just need to know what colour!

I then enjoyed a rather decadent long lunch in Zizzi, where I read the paper and a trashy mag at my leisure, without interruptions and with some very good food. Most relaxing.

The weather took a turn for the worst. Still 11C but so grey and so I set off down a single track road in search of some colour for my blip. I stalked a beautiful but unidentified bird of prey but it was a bit brown and blobby in photos so I have opted for the lovely red leaves instead. As the quality using the zoom on my iPhone was poor, I've 'altered' it somewhat to make it more palatable.

I then had a head shrink session which was better than last week but was quite frustrating as I just started getting into some interesting stuff when the forty five minutes were up. Agh...Really annoying.

It'll be another quiet evening for me.
