Keifer At The Academy, London

Day 272 of 365. Felt very sore today after yesterday's exertions. Luckily, everyone from work who ran the race yesterday managed to finish the race. However, one of my work colleagues' friends did collapse during the race and ended up overnight in hospital. It just shows that even a few degrees difference in the temperature can make a big difference to how you feel during a race. I think I threw more water over me than I drank just to try and cool myself down. My time for the half marathon was my slowest ever but I was just so glad to finish.
Typically, today was much cooler with light rain - could have done with that yesterday. This shot is from the courtyard of the Royal Academy and features these amazing suspended submarines by Anselm Keifer in huge glass cases which reflected the surrounding buildings.
Also, didn't feel too clever today - I think I've got a cold coming on!
