Washing Day

I don't think there'll be much action in this drying green today.

I fully intended to go to the gym at lunchtime but then I convinced myself that I'd get enough of a cardiovascular work out at the Family Ceilidh tonight that I'd foolishly agreed to attend so I went for a wet wander instead along the Water of Leith and through Dean Village.

The kids have asked me not to embarrass them tonight but there'll be warm beer and the chance to throw a few shapes on the dance floor and as I keep reminding them "I'm your Dad, it's my job to embarrass you".
