This is my hamlet, just about visible over the top of a newly trimmed hedge, in a mucky field with a mucky dog in the mucky rain.

My cottage is stone and is peeping above the horizon of the golden field to the right of (and further away from) the white gable end plumb in the centre of the image.

It felt good to get home and light a fire! Even Flash looked pleased to be back inside.
