Before........

This is Mary Berry's whole lemon cake with cheesecake filling.
I have made it before and it was devoured.
I have guests this week, my lovely granweans are coming to visit, both of them, with their parents of course. This is the waiting time, before they arive, beds are made and cake is ready, just in case anyone wants a bit.
I have been very busy of late, I have a job! Proper gainful employment.
After thirteen weeks, a whole quarter of a year, I now have a uniform, it makes me look faintly supervisory, my overarching ego needs no encouragement. I always regard myself as being in charge, I have just not been able to convince everyone else.
The house is quiet... For now.
