Back Home

Landed this evening at Heathrow 20 minutes earlier than expected.
Exhausted but it's always nice to be home with my Marlane and the dogs.

Been up since 0300 UK time, got up at 0600 in Salalah. Flight to Muscat left at 1050 and took 1 hour 10 minutes. I slept for about half an hour.
Straight off the flight and onto the Airbus for the journey to England. It was a good flight but couldn't sleep. I think I'll save up for business class next time!!
So I watched 'The Railway Man', very moving, and then 'The Hobbit' which is very like the Lord of the Rings films of course.

It's been a fabulous 10 days and I've got enough washing for about 4 loads to do tomorrow!!
