The lips
I shall not focus on what's not right, but on what's right.
And the rose bud lips and Gerber good looks were too precious to ignore.
So nothing to learn from the technical here, just the sweetness. And if you look real hard, you may just see the little chip in his left front tooth.
Looking forward to capturing the boys together today as it's our day off from school so this may get changed out later.
I used to take so many pics in the playroom like this where the light is good. Funny how I got out of that habit. With the 1.8 you can't even see the junk behind! Just a glimpse of the once-white-now-yellow sofa.
Went to a fabulous photo exhibition and party last night. Yummy, Mama got out! Nicole's work is extraordinarily inspiring since I first saw Portraits of Africa a year ago and she invited me along again last night. Having spent a few weeks in Tanzania and Kenya, the imagery was close to home. Nicole. She uses PS to paint out the background to give an almost studio effect to her portraits, the light sepia tones reflecting the harshness of the environment.
And during the day, whilst Reu was at UCLA school, Callum and I went to the Rachel Whiteread exhibition at the Hammer Museum UCLA. I was tripping out over her bath sculpture, capturing the negative space of the outside of the bath and moulding that so it produced an object that was a contradiction, the opposite of a bath. Good creative day.
