More balloons

A natural red balloon this time, and no danger to the environment in the event of blipping! Does this count towards the celebrations? The first of the strawberries on the arbutus to change colour looking rather vibrant in a bit of sunshine. So much rain in the night and grey and murky for most of the day but the evening has brightened.

We went to see Boyhood last night as part tof the Arthouse season. It's special thing is that it was shot over twelve years with the same actors. The focus is on a boy's life and we see him from age 8 to 20. I thought it was the most wonderful film - slow, detailed, unsensational and dealing with all things we all have to deal with. Ellar Coltrane as the boy was just extraordinary. We went with two friends and the interesting thing is the women adored it, and the men hated it. Discuss!
