Let There Be Light

Well a rather dreich damp morning today with rain virtually everywhere I went which was basically Edinburgh to Newcastle as I took a double set up to the station to start with that's why I'm further up my number 7 siding as I'm longer than him in number 6 with his single set so after arriving into platform 9 I then split the sets as one goes empty to Dunbar to work a service to Glasgow Central and the one I drove up goes as a 06:26 direct service to Glasgow Central so after doing the splits ouch both drivers and train managers came over to work there respective trains to there destination I then had almost an hour to hang around before working the 07:07 am service as far as Newcastle with my brother Alan as my train manager both ways which was nice, anyway so I went up to Costa Coffee for my usual vanilla latte and got them to toast my egg sandwhich for me and me and the security gaurd for Princes Mall helped the staff put out all the outside chairs and tables and big umbrellas to cover folks at the outside tables, what a guy has to do for a free coffee lol no only kidding I did pay for my coffee but my next one will be free courtesy of the points I have now so I will have my free one on Saturday as I'm off tomorrow then after saturday I'm off all next week woohoo no work or overtime for me thank goodness as I feel rather drained after last week with my heavy cold but it never stopped me from doing anything even although my body ached for the whole week but not complaing,
anyhow I'm off to our first SNP meeting since the referendum tonight which is in the Inverkeithing Civic Centre tonight due to the huge increase in membership as it's now the 3rd biggest political party in the UK pushing the Liberals into 4th now as we have got 80,000 members after only having 25,000 prior to the referendum and no doubt Labour may suffer in both the 15/16 elections due to a lot of folks who had voted Yes making sure they don't get many Westminster MP's elected in Scotland and basically this is my day I wish it was the 18th today as I would be off after that day for a week but I guess I can hang on a little longer I suppose oh well now then my movie today will be an oldy today it was called Man of Evil in the US back in 1945, but it's initial release in the UK was back in 1944 with the more appropriate title for my blip today and is "Fanny By Gaslight 1944" Looks nice BIG as well See Ya
