Bridging The Gap
Well I was off today but got up early to take my mum to Tesco for her weekly shop she prefers me to take her rather than my oldest brother Raymond as she says he always gets grumpy and she knicknames him Victor Meldrew well knowing my brother "I Don't Believe It" lol sorry Raymond, anyway after that I put in 3 new red firebulbs into her nineteen oatcake electric fire I think she's had it since around 1970 as I can remember it from ages back and last year I had to get new elements for it I guess old folks are so set in there ways they hate change but it keeps her happy as it does me as long as she is happy I'm happy too now then I went home and later in the afternoon thought I should head out for a blip down by the water and decided to grab a shot of the progress being made on the new Queensferry Crossing bridge spanning the Forth with this huge crane on a barge along with the crane on the tower platform working away as it looked like a section of road deck was lowered onto the platform and made for an interesting blip, and it's an 04:26am start tomorrow it's showing my job cancelled and I have to sit spare lol I sure hope so and I don't get another job in a taxi to Berwick tomorrow as the line is shut again this weekend I think it's the last weekend for closure for engineering work so 1 more day of work then not back until the 26th of October yeah thank goodness anyway I hope you all have a great weekend whatever your up to whether out at the pub or parties or movies or birthday celebrations or away sight seeing have a great one now then movie for the day was going to be Brigadoon but as it's not falling down I though of how big this structure is and decided on "The Bridge Of Sighs 1936" nice Big as well See Ya
