Short Summer

Check this guy out, he's my new housemate Rowan.

A bunch of us hit the Barbican today for a photography/architecture exhibition, which blew us all away. Some of the artistic and photojournalist stuff there was amazing. Here's a bunch of names I took down to not forget:

- Case Study House #22, the famous modern house photographed by Julius Shulman.
- Iwan Baan's series on Torre David in Caracas.
- Nadav Kander's airy photography from China (apparently he does portraits too, pretty well).
- Simon Norfolk's sick blue hour photography.
- Andreas Gursky's perspective boggling shots (I've only realized now that he's the dude who shot Rhein II... yeah he's skilled).

Dinner at Byron's afterwards with everyone, followed by a couple drinks with Anand and Ali at some pub, before the fateful phone call that took the three of us all the way to South Ken for a ridiculously good night with the Kensington boys at Bouji's.

In the words of Joe, "I know the bar, raise mine, y'all can lower y'alls"

peace
