Surprise View

Another full on great day, a bit of walking, took in Latrigg (but cheated by driving up the fell lane), a bit of shopping in and lunch in Keswick and a drive down to Watendlath,

This view of Derwentwater with Bassenthwaite Lake in the distance was stunning as the sun went down.

The day was even more special given the weather forecasts all week had been predicting today would be a washout and it was the total reverse.

This evenings dinner was at the Jumble Room in Grasmere, a really nice meal in a quirky atmosphere. Wow what a day !!
