..(street) art, books and coffee in Victoria Park on the Albany Highway.

The Highway dates back to the mid 19th century and connects Perth to Albany (WA's oldest settlement) in the state's south west some 410 km away.

The road starts in the suburb of Victoria Park and the first four kilometres is chockers with restaurants, Asian grocers,a canvas tent repairer, florist academy, op shops, car yards and Wicked Campers and so, so much more.

Books at Crow Books (what's not to love about Lego brick film posters!!) and coffee at The Sparrow's Nest where I've just discovered (through google needless to say) the 'suspended coffee'.
'The concept of suspended coffees has been shared around the world through social media. It asks people to buy their coffee, but pay for two - the extra coffee is written up on a board and goes to someone less fortunate.'
What a great ethos to say nothing of the excellent coffee.
Thanks.

Much more of Albany Highway in Vic Park still to be discovered!
