Autumn Colours

I took a trip out into the countryside today to capture some of the colours and contrasts of early autumn. I settled in the small valley which runs along from the ford at Brunt. I had my tripod and grad filters with me so I was able to deal with the strong light and contrast and end up with a reasonable exposure. However, to bring it all to life again I needed to work at it in Photoshop and am reasonably pleased with the result. I did not want to include the electric pylons but it is almost impossible to avoid them there and in the end I decided it was going to be too fiddly to clone them out.. I hope they don't spoil your view.
