Blipmeet am Rhein

An exciting highlight of our short holiday in Germany was my very first blipmeet ... with Elwetritsche. If you click on the link above, you'll see that we met in Neustadt, and soon made our way to the Elwetritsche fountain. After lunch Mr PP drove us to Speyer and we enjoyed a gentle ride along the Rhein in a pleasure boat. The pleasure included coffee, cake, the sighting of white herons, being silly with a red balloon to celebrate Blipfoto's 10th birthday, and - best of all - meeting a blipmate and finding, as we expected, that we already felt like old friends thanks to our virtual meetings in Blipland. Elwetritsche had kindly ordered fine weather and - despite the rainy forecast - it was delivered in perfect working order! A brilliant day all round!
