My Grandpa

Today I spent the afternoon at a meal with my family to celebrate my Uncle receiving his MBE from the Queen yesterday. I meant to take a photo and completely forgot.

At the meal, my mum gave me a sketchbook that belonged to my Grandpa. He died a while ago now and mum had come across it recently and wondered if I might like to keep it. He's drawn a few Christmas card designs in the first few pages of the book that I might try and do something with at some point (maybe re-create them for future Christmas cards in his memory?)

I have included a photo of him here that shows him creating technical drawings. I love this photo and have it on display in our lounge. I definitely got my artistic side from him. : )
