Higher and Higher

I took this to try and give you some perspective on the size of the waves – the rock is about 10/12 metres high.

Today included the strange incident of the stag in the sea!
I took a picture but it was so sad and distressed I didn’t post it. Apparently they live on the Padstow side of the Camel Estuary and at this time of year (? to do with rutting ?) they swim across the estuary and head north ... but occasionally they get spooked by people/dogs/cars and go in the wrong direction. This one ran across the cliff tops and dived into the sea ... where it got trapped in a cove as the tide was coming in. The Life Guards called the RSPCA but the sea was too strong and very rough. A surge wave came and the stag wasn’t seen again. It was very sad.
