Billy Goat Gruff

This is a motion shot of the Billy Goats Gruff that are presently chomping their way through the village.

I rather like them, there is one huge billy and a pudgy nanny and they have been making short work of the gardens of the more genteel folk who have time to spend gardening. Have they offered to come and chomp our scruffy garden? no they have shunned our weedy patch for the more delicate flowery shrubs of other residents, I feel snubbed.

I hear that the Mac's are going to capture them and put them on an island they own somewhere so they can be content there but somehow I will miss this maurading pair!

A dull day, had a long lie, read in bed (normally only do that at night) hubby working, eldest daughter home (only to go to a party) youngest away on a dvd watchethon (where do they get these words from?)
Was at a nieghbours for lunch, Salar hot smoked salmon, delish, all manner of little fancy thingies to go with it and all on matching crockery and cutlery.
I have been married 25years this October and nothing I posess matches.

In our island home we had two windows in our sitting room and two diffirent sets of curtains and it used to bug my pal when she came to visit so much so that she tracked down a matching pair!

I'm not sure about stuff that matches, was in a B&B in Skye recently and didnt know whether to sleep on the bed or the windowsill as everything was chintzy yellow!

Was given peats to burn yesterday and the chap said the smell will remind you of home! well in all my years I still cant smell peat! I can smell wood and coal but not peats.

Hubby says the best peat can only be found in a good Islay malt!
