Its grim in the North today - its also lovely.
Sadly it seems to be impossible to predict when each face of Autumn will show itself - and they don't seem to be staying for long either. I've left the house in glorious sunshine, been hailed on within 5 minutes, then torrential rain & now the wind is bringing branches off the trees around me.
I'm playing taxi for a goodly part of the day as Cat has her work on display at the Comic Convention in Kendal (I will almost certainly find the time to sneak in a climb though) - so it seemed sensible to pause & grab today's blip. Stood on the little bridge over the beck I was initially wanting to capture the water tumbling over the rocky steps - but got distracted by the fantastic colours on display above - so ended up with a shot that's neither one thing nor the other - much like the day.
