Summer

Well, we've had over a week of summer now, it's been amazing.

Less amazing is that today I spent inside in front of a computer, working. It's necessary, next weekend we're taking the kids out of school for a week and going sailing, so it's a small sacrifice.

Worked on proposals all day, and am now working on design concepts for a client. Interesting connection with today's blip, in the form of colour.

The client is rebranding and has gone for earth tones; brown, green etc. Only problem it's part of the world that is very blue, gold, and white. It's south of Christchurch. When I mentioned this they agreed, and are now rethinking their brand.

Hmm, but we still have to deliver the website in exactly 4 weeks. Nothing like a bit of pressure, punctured by a weeks sailing ;-)
