Le Bœuf sur le Toit. GX1, Leitz Summitar 50mm.
This cow used to be on the sidewalk in front of the bakery. She was probably being molested by passers-by and the management decided to hoist her up on the roof. This much better suits my Blip purposes since there is a surrealist ballet by Darius Milhaud of this name and, as my Wiki research reveals, a contemporary restaurant in Paris too. Marc Chagal also explored the concept thoroughly; no surprise since he, along with Milhaud, Cocteau, and young Picasso were all habitues of Roaring-Twenties Paris
