The Club

We built a "club", as the boys call it. Under a slightly fallen down mesquite tree in the front field.
We spent hours picking up dead branches and piling them up into walls between the curved down branches of this old tree. Then we cleared the floor area inside of weeds and bits of wood with a stick broom until we had a cool hideaway underneath.
We had our machetes for chopping and digging, and our BG survival knife for....surviving....we were like Bear Grylls faithful followers :0)
And then, as the sun was setting, we heard coyotes waking up somewhere in the distance so we went home :0)
