Before the rain...

Decided to be optimistic, and took the little country road from home to where I have my hair cut. No trees down, but lots of bits of branch and twigs and leaves and general detritus all over the road. My favourite horse chestnut has held up well, however, and it looked great in the sun.
Less than five minutes later, as I parked the car, an incredible wind blew up, hurled the fallen leaves up in the air and the rain splattered down - look here if you want to see the contrast!
