Everest

A first glimpse today, on the steep walk up to Namche Bazaar. Thankfully we have managed well so far, without too much puffing and panting. However, from here the altitude gets more serious as we move towards 4,000m. It is cold outside but in the lodge, which is packed with sweaty bodies, there is a warm fug! A deep breath and up we go to Khumjung tomorrow.

Look through the binoculars for a better view of Everest.
