Before the storm

I went out to take my blip first thing this morning before the tail end of Hurricane Gonzalo hit us. The tree at the front of Whittington Garden of Remembrance is looking beautiful in it's autumn finery so thought that it should be photographed today in case the wind blows all the leaves off. It was the best time to be out and about as the storm is really strong now.

Tonight I should have been going to a music session 45 minutes away but will stay at home as I don't fancy driving down country lanes with the risk of the wind blowing trees down.
