A Bright Spot

Storms were forecast but I hung out the washing anyway and headed off down to the lake with camera and tripod.

The weather was quite reasonable as I set off but once I was ready to start taking photographs I got blown by the wind, pelted by the hailstones and soaked by the rain.

I turned the car round to come home and the sun shone. I wasn't risking it all again, I wound down the window and took this shot from the car.

As for the washing, I think it might have got blown by the wind, pelted by the hailstones and soaked by the rain. The sheet certainly wasn't happy to be dangling by one peg and trailing across the path!
