It's Teddy

On the way to work I saw a couple of great rainbows and even took some photos on route. Boy was it windy. The tail end of a hurricane came over the UK and it was quite exciting.

Work was mainly admin today and I managed to leave at 1pm. I took my camera into an independent shop to ask if they could clean my sensor and the lovely man did it there and then - for free. I bought some filters for the ends of my lenses to protect them and came out a very happy girl. I have a new favourite shop!

I did a quick bit of shopping (using my new Waitrose 10% discount card!). When I got home I hung out the washing which dried almost instantly in the gale but then it got rained on a bit so I had to be quick getting it all back in.

C turned up with Teddy (dressed in his new top that I got him for his birthday) and this blip was made as I played with the camera after a couple of weeks out of action. It felt good, I’ve missed it. We spent the whole afternoon drinking tea, playing in the sitting room, giggling, encouraging the cruising and chatting, and generally having a great time.

C told me that S had got on well with G the other day and I said L had too. We did have a laugh at that. I reminded her that they’d only met him the once and they might think differently when they heard the same stories time after time after time! I told her of L’s shenanigans when D and G were here; him overhearing G expelling wind in the bathroom in the middle of the night and L parading my bra outside not realising D was in full view. Nutter.

C’s bump is huge now with only 3-4 weeks to go. The poor thing isn’t sleeping well at all with the pains in her hips. Teddy had some tea and made me really laugh at his antics then they left as C needed to collect a friend from the station.

I made a moussaka, had nice chats with the lodgers and then watched two Game of Thrones. Quality day.
