I had to have new tires put on the car today. The workshop is situated on Commonwealth Avenue, one of the main streets of Boston, and the "campus" of Boston University. The departmental buildings stretch for miles down both sides of the street. Along with universities, of course, come students and the eating and drinking establishments necessary for their proper nutrition, i.e. grease, salt and beer. As I was waiting for the work to be completed I took a stroll down the street and captured this scene looking towards downtown. Further in towards the city, Comm. Ave. is much more gracious, Blipped here earlier in the summer.
