Neighbourhood Watch
Today was my afternoon off; Mr A was off too so we had a lovely chilled out afternoon together.
We debated having a walk to Haworth Art Gallery as shamefully neither of us have ever been, despite it being almost on our doorstep.
However, the weather was horrid so we decided instead to stay indoors and watch tv.
We have been watching 'Orange is the new black' (though nothing fills the void that Breaking Bad left in our lives).
It's based on a true story of a lady who was sent to prison, and was described to me as 'being a bit lezzie'. There have been a few gay scenes, but I guess it's part & parcel of prison life, and it's relevant to the back story of the woman in the programme.
It was during our 'weather watch' that we discovered a mini drama on our close.
We are still undecided as to what actually happened, but it ended up with 3 PCSO's and one policeman all eyeing up the blue van and quizzing both the driver and passenger. They all then got into their respective vehicles and drove off.
We speculated all sorts of things whilst curtain twitching during the time we we watched them.
We are lucky that we live in quite a secluded close; usually the only cars on here are people visiting, nobody drives up for anything else and its a close, so doesn't lead anywhere. Our neighbours are all retired and do keep a watch out for passers by, so maybe they thought there was something dodgy going on.
Who knows?
