Salt and pepper chicken

This is one of my favourite Chinese dishes.

It's something I've never really thought to try making myself, but I was given a recipe off my friend at work and thought I'd give it a go.

It was yummy, though a bit on the hot side for Mr A, despite me picking all the chillies out of his portion!

We will definitely have it again :-)

Recipe as requested!
Popcorn chicken portions - toss in 1tsp chilli powder and 1 tbsp Chinese 5 spice, sea salt and coarse black pepper to taste and oven bake as per instructions
thinly slice 1 onion, 1 red chilli and 1 green chilli & slowly fry until soft with 2 cloves of garlic (minced) using either sesame or groundnut oil
Once chicken is cooked, add to frying pan with the onions etc and stir fry for a couple of minutes to mix together
Serve and enjoy!
