Responsible
Each day Marley has jobs he has to do before he can watch tv.
He has to water his plants he's growing. We did some gardening a while back when he got some gifts for his birthday. We want to encourage his love of nature and the environment while also teaching him some things along the way. Currently he's growing a couple swan plants, basil, sunflowers and beans. With the long weekend coming up we plan to do some planting seeds as he really enjoys it.
The next job he has to do is give his guinea pig wookiee a cuddle, our other guinea wicket is a lot bigger and a bit more temperamental. Wookiee was Marleys first pet and he's such a placid wee guy, he just sits in mars lap while Marley tells him about his day. He stops a lot to ask wookiee if he's ok, I don't stop him, i want to encourage his compassion for animals as living things too. Marley tells me when he thinks wookiee has had enough and is getting scared so I put him back, usually after 10 minutes.
After these jobs mar has to do his homework, I prepare some things for him as well as the reading book he brings home. I want to make sure that I keep up his education and support the school by doing some work with him at home too.
By the time we've finished it's nearly 430 and by then his attention is fading so I give him some down time watching TV.
I hope that all of this will teach him responsibility .
Kanye still isn't good, he went to school Tuesday and Wednesday which were good days as they had the therapy dog saphy and then music therapy. But every other day has been hard on him. It's been over a week since we reduced his meds and he's having seizures every morning, this morning were big seizures so he was home. It's starting to wear on him he's pretty exhausted most days but the neurologist said yesterday to give it another week to see if he adjusts, if not then we put it back and hope he settles.
Stunning day today! Glad i sent sunscreen along to school and put some on Marley before he left this morning.
