The Calm Before.....the boaties all arrive!

This morning it was so calm and peaceful, the lake had a real mood to it as the sky was very overcast. By tomorrow the holiday makers will be starting to arrive for the long weekend and the lake will come alive. Love this little corner and it's assortment of boatsheds nestled in the bush. The kowhai is coming near the end of its flowering, but still has a lot of yellow flowers.

My morning wasn't as calm, turned the oven on, and in the middle of making some biscuits for our family who are arriving tonight, and BANG....my oven door exploded. As it was safety glass it didn't explode everywhere, but completely unusable.
So it meant a trip into town to our very good service centre and relieved to find they had a second hand replacement door and it was a newer model... problem solved!
