Eek!

I found this stink bug (Brown marmorated stink bug) on my dish towel this evening. I had seen him (and photographed him) yesterday on my African violet. I didn't know how to dispose of him because I didn't want to crush him. Fortunately, we had a friend stay for dinner and he bravely got the bug on a knife and released him outside, into the wild. Hopefully it was a single bug and not one of a family!

What an ugly harsh day today. Strong wind, cold rain, dark skies. I think tomorrow will start out the same but clear up later in the day. Fingers crossed.
